Lauretana’s missing teeth had caused a loss of vertical dimension of occlusion, the natural height of her bite. As a first step, the missing teeth were replaced with dental implants.
Once the implants had healed, a full-mouth rehabilitation with 28 zirconia crowns was carried out to increase the vertical dimension of her bite. The aim was to restore both function and aesthetics, completing her Hollywood smile in Albania with a natural-looking result.
